The former homes of great collectors await you, places rich in remarkable works of art, telling stories of passion and dedication by distinguished men.
STEFANO BARDINI MUSEUM
The museum is housed in the ancient Palazzo Mozzi in Florence and
was once the gallery of Stefano Bardini, one of the most important
antique dealers, aesthetes, and art experts of the late 19th
century. His house-museum is a jewel of art and ancient culture.
The carefully chosen colors of the rooms enhance the displayed
objects; the mix of works from different periods, the arrangement
by genre, and the attention to overall visual effect make it a
magical and intriguing place that I will help you appreciate in
every detail—a house-museum not to be missed.
HERBERT P. HORNE MUSEUM
The Horne House-Museum is located in the 15th-century Palazzo
Corsi on Via de’ Benci and hosts an extraordinary collection
gathered by the British collector Herbert P. Horne, including
works attributed to Giotto, Simone Martini, Filippino Lippi,
Giambologna, and many others.
The museum preserves an exceptional series of 15th- and
16th-century furniture and objects, allowing visitors to relive
the atmosphere of the Florentine Renaissance. It is not only a
gallery of masterpieces but also a refined reconstruction of a
Renaissance noble residence.
FREDERICK STIBBERT MUSEUM
Created by Frederick Stibbert in the mid-19th century, this museum
is a rare example of a house-museum, where each room was carefully
arranged to evoke the atmosphere, place, and historical period of
the works displayed.
As a tour guide of Florence, I will help you appreciate its
details Particularly noteworthy are the Armoury Hall and the Hall
of the Cavalcade, where life-sized European and Islamic knights
are exhibited. It is an extraordinary museum that lies halfway
between an art gallery and the ideal reconstruction of a
19th--century collector’s home.
RODOLFO SIVIERO MUSEUM
This house-museum, complete with its original furnishings, was
bequeathed to the Region of Tuscany in 1983 by Rodolfo Siviero,
known as the ‘007 of art.
He was responsible for recovering numerous works of art that had
been looted from Italy during the Nazi occupation. I will be
delighted to guide you through this very special museum in
Florence.
PALAZZO DAVANZATI
Would you like to take a step back in time? Accompanied by your
guide of Florence, I propose a journey into the 14th century
inside a true Florentine house of the period, with its precious
wall frescoes that give their names to the various rooms,
collections of furnishings (sourced from private collections and
other museums), and works of art.
Be prepared to visit the large kitchen as well, where women spent
much of their time engaged in daily activities.
THE MARINO MARINI MUSEUM
The museum is housed in the former Church of San Pancrazio and
presents the works of the 20th-century sculptor Marino Marini. The
layout of the museum was designed to reflect the character of his
art, which requires large and luminous spaces.
I invite you to discover, with a specialized guide, the ‘feeling
of art’ expressed by this great artist through his figures: the
Horsemen, the Pomonas, the Jugglers, and the Dancers.
I propose some tourist itineraries: after having admired the house-museums of Florence, you can relaxed with a pleasent walk, discovering the architectural and urban beauties of the city.
A guided tour of the medieval center of Florence, including avisit to the Dante’s House-Museum and a tour of the 13th-and 14th-century city, amoung the tower houses and narrow alleys, following the traces of the Supreme Poet. One of the most important and famous tour of Florence.
Florence was the capital of the Kingdom of Italy from 1865 to 1871. This itinerary focuses on the drastic urban changes but also to the most important figures of Italian culture who stayed in the capital and contribuited to the birth of the birth of the Italian Nation.
The itinerary includes the visit to the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella, the religious hearth of the city( the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Bapthistery of San Giovanni Battista and Giotto’s Bell Tower), the political and civic heart of Florence “ Piazza della Signoria”.
Florence in a suitcase? Yes, during one of the tourist itineraries I can show you an unusual view of Florence. You’ll be able to take a special selfie at a panoramic point of the city, at one of the sculpture of Folon, located inside the Rose Garden.
The pleasure of sharing an experience
